AfroWealth is led by its founder and executive Chairman, Ramukumba Khathu who is a highly experienced professional, he is a qualified Chartered Accountant who also holds an MBA degree from Henley Business, Advanced Certificate in Banking Services from Milpark Business School and a Project Management Certificate in Project Management from the Northwest University’s Business School.

Ramukumba Khathu has held various executive roles including, Chief Financial Officer of the NYDA, Chief Executive Officer of the NYDA, Chief Executive Officer of CHIETA, Group Chief Financial Officer of SAPO and Vice Principal for Finance & Business Enterprise at UNISA.

He has also served in many Boards and Audit and Risk Committees and currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board of the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), Chairperson of the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature’s Audit and Risk Committee, Mpumalanga Provincial Treasury Audit Committee and the Northwest Provincial Government Shared Audit and Risk Committee.
